For this editorial project, the objective was to choose a Psychology Today article and then design an editorial spread that emphasizes the message of that article using both type and imagery.
The article I chose was "How to Stop Internalizing" by Jill P. Weber. My goal was to create an editorial spread that reflected the article's main idea of how expressing your feelings is a great way to stop internalizing and stay true to yourself. I accomplished this by taking my own photos of a bottle filled with different feelings that represents the build up of feelings. Having the colored paper pieces spill to the right page emphasizes the idea of releasing those internalized feelings.
